Recipes for three super easy vegan cheese substitutes that require very few ingredients and come together really quickly.

– Ingredients
– 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
– 10 raw unsalted cashews
– ½ tsp garlic powder
– Sprinkle of salt

1. Add everything to a blender or food processor
Pulse until the cashews have become pulverized and you have a pretty fine powder

– 1 can coconut milk – scope out and leave excess water behind
– ¼ cup nutritional yeast
– 1-2 tbsp tapioca or cornstarch
– 1 tsp turmeric
– 2 tsp garlic powder
– 2 tsp onion powder
– 1 tsp chili powder
– ¼ tsp cayenne pepper.

1. In a small saucepan over medium heat spoon in the coconut milk leaving behind the excess water in the can that has settled to the bottom
2. Add in nutritional yeast, tapioca starch, turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder and cayenne pepper.
3.Whisk everything together and simmer until desired consistency and any floury taste from the tapioca starch has cooked off

Lemon dill cheese spread
– juice of 1 lemon
– 1 cup soaked or boiled cashews
– 2 tbsp of nutritional yeast
– seasonings/herbs of choice

1. Pulse in a blender or food processor until smooth adding in extra water if the mixture gets too thick
