If you’re wanting to lose weight or seem to have hit a plateau with your weight loss then take a closer look at what you’re eating. There is no reason to eliminate high-fat foods completely. Just keep your intake moderate. Many healthier higher fat foods such as nut butters, avocados, and olive oil, may contribute to weight gain if you eat too much of them. Follow the 5050Plate rule; stick to low calorie density foods, cut out high calorie density foods like oils, cheese and breads, and see if that gives you the kick start your weight loss needs!
